What is the cost of attending the conference?
Click here for a full list of conference fees. Early bird pricing will be in effect through October 20, 2020. After October 20th, the member and non-member rates will increase by $80.00. TAGT offers group registration discounts this year for groups of 15, 30 and 50. See details here. Contact the TAGT office to check the status of your membership.
How do I know if I am registered?
You will receive a confirmation email when you are registered. The email will serve as your receipt, or invoice if you have a balance due. You are able to view your reservation by logging in to your TAGT account at txgifted.org and clicking on ‘My Transactions’.
How can I get a copy of my receipt for the conference?
You can access your receipt(s) or invoice(s) at your convenience by logging in to your TAGT account at txgifted.org and clicking on ‘My Invoices’. If you have difficulty logging in or need your password, email membership@txgifted.org.
My registration has been paid for but I am not able to attend anymore. What can I do?
Most conference sessions will be recorded and available for asynchronous viewing through January 31, 2021 so you can participate anytime your schedule allows. There will be no cancellations or refunds given for this conference. Also, there is no fee for substituting registrations and you may transfer a registration at any time on or before November 30. To make a substitution, email membership@txgifted.org with the contact information of the attendee who is currently registered, along with the information for the person who will be attending in their place. Your substitute will then receive an email confirmation. Please keep in mind that if you have registered at the member rate for the conference, your substitute will also need to be a member or will be billed for the difference for the non-member rate.
I cannot attend the conference in real time. Will the conference be recorded?
Yes! Most conference sessions (100 hours of professional learning) will be recorded and available to registrants in an asynchronous capacity through January 31, 2021.
When will I have access to build my session schedule?
By late-October you will receive information to access the online conference platform where you will be able view all sessions, build your schedule, and explore additional resources.
Do I need to pre-register to reserve my place in individual sessions?
You do not need to reserve spots for most sessions. There will be space for everyone who wants to participate in real time and any exceptions will be noted clearly in the schedule.
How many education credits can I earn by attending?
Registrants will have access to 100 hours of professional learning.
How do I receive credit for the hours I earned?
Included in your electronic conference program is a professional credit form. It is the participant’s responsibility to collect the codes from the sessions attended and mark them on the form. Be sure to make a copy of your credit form to keep for your records before you turn it into your district coordinator or the person who keeps track of your training hours. You do NOT need to turn this credit form into TAGT–the association does not keep track of or collect credit forms for members.
Do you offer any other G/T training?
Yes, TAGT offers conferences throughout the year in which professionals can get their G/T training hours. Please visit the TAGT website for upcoming events. We also have TAGT On Demand for convenient, quality G/T training courses online. Visit the TAGT On Demand page for more information.
