In the spring of 2017, TAGT engaged Freeman, a leader in event design and brand experience, to help reimagine and elevate the TAGT annual conference brand. The Freeman team worked with a group of TAGT stakeholders including board members, coordinators, classroom teachers, sponsors and partners. They came together to brainstorm and express what the conference meant to them, what their favorite aspects were and what they ultimately gained from attending this vital event.
When all was said and done, giftED was born.
In the simplest sense, the logo reflects what this conference is all about… gifted education. The logo emphasizes gifted in a general sense but also highlights the letters “ED” which stands for, not only, the education aspect of the conference, but the education to which the attendees provide to students on a daily basis. The tagline, Connecting Minds. Empowering Futures., reflects the mission and vision of TAGT.
